Analysis of Interaction between Interior and Exterior Wall Corrosion Defects

With the increase in oil and gas pipe mileage, various corrosion defects inevitably occur, so mechanisms applicability of interaction are investigated. The ANSYS Workbench software is used to study three double defect models based on exterior wall, interior wall. Finally, critical distance formula different types fitted using MATLAB software, its accuracy verified. results show that equivalent divided into two areas; with increasing depth length, increases growth rate increases; by fitting models, multiple function length under location obtained, high accuracy. ratio introduced compare 150 sets data 3 for conservative calculation; perform well model wall most conservative.
